Wadebridge in north Cornwall has a famous mediaeval packhorse bridge which spans the River Camel. It is over 230 feet long with seventeen arches. I modelled eleven arches of the bridge which ran in its full length right across the front of the office counter. We included a small cartouche with a quote from the 19th century art critic John Ruskin: ‘When we build let us think that we build forever.’ This was a very long mural to photograph in one picture. The photographs show sections of the long mural taken outside our studios.

It was originally located in the Bristol & West branch at 40-42 Molesworth Street in Wadebridge but it closed many years ago.
